HomeAid Inland Empire Hires New Executive Director

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (June 28, 2022) HomeAid Inland Empire is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Friedlander as its new Executive Director.

HomeAid Inland Empire is a local affiliate of HomeAid America. HomeAid uses the power of collaboration with local and national builders, trades, suppliers, and community partners to maximize resources and expertise for non-profit service providers to create safe and dignified housing and programmatic facilities to those experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness.

“I am excited to take part in furthering HomeAid’s mission to help people experiencing or at risk of homelessness build new lives through construction, community engagement, and education,” Friedlander said.

Friedlander has spent the last 10 years in the non-profit sector with a focus on fundraising, marketing, and community engagement, most recently as Director of Resource Development & Marketing with Habitat for Humanity Riverside. Prior to that, Friedlander spent 20 years working in the private sector specializing in sales & marketing, with a passion for building relationships and connecting individuals.

“HomeAid Inland Empire is excited to start a new chapter with Matt coming on board. We are fortunate that our national organization aided in our Executive Director search, and we were rewarded with a great fit in our mission to end homelessness. Matt’s energy and his dedication to the Inland Empire is unyielding,” said Brian King, HAIE Board President.
